Tamanu oil is extracted from the nuts that grow on the tropical evergreen tree of the same name. Tamanu oil and other parts of the tree have been used medicinally for hundreds of years by some Asian, African and Pacific Island cultures.

Tamanu oil has long been believed to have a number of health and beauty benefits, from wound healing to healthier hair. While not every claim you come across is scientifically researched, many really are.

Tamanu oil's healing effect is known to accelerate the growth of new healthy tissue, thus facilitating wound healing, and its antioxidant property contributes to a rejuvenated appearance by smoothing wrinkles. By improving blood circulation, tamanu oil prevents and reduces bruising, and its antibacterial properties make it valuable for hygiene practices and for dealing with dermatitis, infections, psoriasis, skin rashes and body odors.

Used in cosmetics and topically, tamanu oil can be applied directly to the face to reduce acne scars, scars, age spots, fine lines, and wrinkles. Tamanu facial scrub

Cleanse your face with warm water, then gently massage the exfoliating mixture all over your face with your fingertips, avoiding the sensitive eye area. Continue massaging for a minimum of 90 seconds and a maximum of 2 minutes. To cleanse, splash your face with warm water or use a warm, damp washcloth. This procedure can be repeated up to 3 times a week. For easy styling, rub 2 drops of tamanu oil between your fingers and distribute through your hair.

Gently massage the mixture onto your face and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

Massage the mixture into the affected areas regularly for 3 months to help fade marks and blemishes.

Mix the oils in a 120ml dark glass bottle with a dropper. Apply the serum to your hair and leave it on overnight as a mask. Treat your hair once a week.
