Manjista (Rubia cordifolia root) has a red pigment, thanks to which you can get cooler red or cherry tones in henna mixtures. For extra shine and a boost of red between washes, try a combination of mangeist and hibiscus once a week. Nourishes the hair and scalp and helps to cleanse from dandruff, supports the overall health of the hair.

In face masks, mangosteen is great for brightening the complexion. A commonly used agent for bleaching pigment spots. It helps with skin inflammations, restores and strengthens the skin. Since mangeist is coloring, it is recommended to use it in small quantities and in combination with other herbs as a face mask. We recommend mixing it together with rose powder, tulsi, clay.

Usage

• • Universal face mask: mix equal parts of the herbs of your choice – Indian clay, orange peel powder, neem, manjista, rose flower powder. You can store the mixture prepared in this way in a glass jar in the dark. Before use, pour 1-2 tbsp. of the mixture with hot water and stir. Wait about 5 minutes and apply to the face, avoiding the eye contour. After 20 minutes. Wash off with water.
    For an even better effect, you can mix the mask with rose water (for any skin type); aloe vera juice, fresh milk or honey (for dry skin); diluted lemon juice (for oily skin).

• • For hair: Add when mixing the henna with warm water, wait a few hours for the henna to release color, and apply.
