Corsican black pine essential oil (Pinus nigra subsp. laricio) Extra Bio Primavera is a wild Corsican extract with an intense citrus fruit note (bergamot, lemon, lime) and a fresh, clear woody accent. It differs from the usual black pine oil; esters and sesquiterpenes support a stimulating, strengthening aromatic effect. The oil is both gentle and powerful - suitable for aromatic support in respiratory discomfort and is well tolerated on the skin when properly diluted. It contains fewer monoterpenes than many other woody essential oils. The yield is highly limited: picking above 1,200–2,000 m, certified by Ecocert and authorized by the ONF of Corsica.

Corsican black pine is a subspecies of black pine that grows wild in Corsica. For varietal purity, the harvest is at around 2,000 m - only Corsican black pine grows above this altitude. The oil is certified by Ecocert and authorized by the ONF (Office national des forêts). Branches that obstruct roads are used for distillation; whole trees are not cut down. The tree can live up to around 1,000 years.
