Alteya organic babassu oil – a light moisturizer for dry skin, elasticity and shine of hair.
- Alteya Organics organic babassu oil is extracted by cold pressing the palm fruit kernel. Orbignya oleifera (synonym Attalea), which grows in the Amazon jungle. The fruits look like small coconuts. Rich in lauric and myristic acids, the oil is among the best moisturizers: it soothes, nourishes and retains moisture, without an unpleasant greasy feeling, because its melting point is close to that of the skin. At room temperature, it is solid and melts on contact with the skin.

Always apply babassu oil to damp skin with gentle massage movements until completely absorbed. It is solid at room temperature – it warms up in your palms.
- Face and body: on cleansed skin or in serum, balm, massage oil and home cosmetics.
- Scythe: Apply a few drops to scalp and lengths. Leave on for 30–60 minutes or use as a conditioner after shampooing, then rinse as needed.
Dilution of essential oils in babassu oil: for face about 0,5% (1 drop per 10 ml); for body and massage about 1% (2 drops per 10 ml).
Bath: dissolve the essential oils first in salt, honey, milk or base oil, then add to the water.
For external use only. Keep out of eyes. Test for sensitivity before use. If rash or redness occurs, discontinue use. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients. Store at 15–25 °C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. In very high summer temperatures, it can be kept in the refrigerator; remove it 12 hours before use. Keep out of the reach of children. Consult a specialist during pregnancy and lactation.
