- Alteya Organics Bulgarian Rose Absolute – concentrated aroma from the flowers of an oil-bearing rose Rosa damascena from the Rose Valley. It is obtained from pink concrete by extraction; the solvent is removed. The color is red, the consistency is thick, the aroma is rich, floral, honey-floral. It is absolutely not an essential oil (rose oil). It is used in fine perfumery, in home cosmetics and for aroma care. It is suitable for all skin types, especially for dry, mature or irritated skin. Waxes and alcohols are involved in the aroma, including phenylethyl alcohol, citronellol, geraniol and nerol.

This is a concentrated absolute. For aromatherapy skin care, dilute in an organic carrier oil. Do not apply undiluted to skin.
Dosage: start with a very low dose. For face: 1–2 drops in 50 ml of base oil. For body and massage: up to 3–5 drops in 50 ml. Do not exceed these amounts.
For a bath, mix 1–2 drops with sea salt, honey, milk or cream, or with a base oil, and add to the water (to about 38 °C).
For a diffuser or aroma stone: 1 drop. You can apply a highly diluted absolute to pulse points.
In home cosmetics, add drops to a cream or lotion container according to the dosage above. In perfumery, absolute is a heart note and combines with citrus, floral and earthy scents.
