- Neroli essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the flowers of the evergreen tree. Citrus aurantium (bitter orange). An interesting fact is that 3 different essential oils are produced from different parts of the same tree – cold pressing of the fruit peels produces bitter orange essential oil, and steam distillation of the leaves produces petitgrain oil. The flowers must be distilled immediately after they have been picked to ensure the premium quality and exclusive aroma of neroli essential oil. It has a very strong, uplifting floral aroma with fresh, sweet, green top notes. Neroli essential oil is a popular ingredient in perfumery, not only for its sophisticated floral-citrus aroma, but also for its ability to act as a natural fixative. It is also known as the “oil of romance” and is often used at weddings due to its ability to stimulate sensuality and create an intimate atmosphere.

- Cream or lotion: Add 1 drop to a cream/lotion package and spread onto clean skin.
- Hair/scalp care: 1 drop in a little shampoo or in a little base oil for scalp massage (for dandruff or irritation) — mix well before application.
- Aromatherapy / diffuser: 2–4 drops to relieve tension and improve sleep.
- Perfume blend: a few drops in a base oil for a rollerball (e.g. with rose) — apply to your wrists or décolleté.
