Nourishing shampoo with beer
Beer or the hops contained in it have a wonderful nourishing effect on the hair. Together with egg yolk, it has long been used in hair shampoos, for cleaning and hair care. The yolk compensates for the lack of protein, and the beer strengthens and strengthens the hair. Rosemary essential oil has a supportive effect. It smells nice, activates the scalp and is said to promote hair growth. Beer gives hair more volume and strengthens it.
What do you need?
Ingredients needed for a nourishing beer shampoo
- 30 ml of organic beer
- 1 drop Rosemary Camphor Oil Organic (please do not use rosemary if you are pregnant or have high blood pressure!)
- 1 organic egg yolk
- Yolk measuring cup
- Sealable shaker bottle
- Stirrer
How to prepare?
Difficulty level: beginner
Mix rosemary essential oil with egg yolk and beer. Pour into a bottle, put the cap on and shake well so that the shampoo becomes foamy. You can also beat it well using a whisk.
Usage
Massage the shampoo into damp hair. Leave on for a short time and wash off with lukewarm water as much as possible to prevent the yolk from coagulating. The indicated amount is enough for 1-2 applications and should not be stored for too long, preferably in the refrigerator.
Tip: rose water as a hair tonic provides extra shine.
