- Frankincense carterii essential oil (Boswellia carterii) Alteya Organics is obtained by hydrodistillation of the resin of the frankincense tree, native to Northeast Africa. It is also known as Arabian or African frankincense. Unlike Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata), this species has a fresh, earthy, woody-resinous aroma – for grounding, balance, and skin care.

Dosage according to the label: maximum 3 drops of essential oil in 30 ml of carrier oil. The same usage applies to both sizes (5 ml and 10 ml).
- Facial care: up to 1 drop in 10 ml of base oil.
- Body / massage: up to 3 drops diluted in 30 ml of carrier oil; gently rub into skin.
- Diffuser / aroma lamp: 3–4 drops or according to the device instructions.
- Bathtub: 3–5 drops, pre-dissolved in sea salt, honey, milk or carrier oil before adding to the water.
- Homemade cosmetics: a few drops in a cream package or a skin care lotion package.
For external use only. Never apply undiluted to the skin. Test for individual tolerance. Keep away from eyes, mucous membranes and children. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a health condition, consult a specialist before use. Store in a dark, dry place, at 15–25 °C. A fresh, energizing aroma! The combination of cloves, cinnamon, eucalyptus and rosemary is perfect for protecting against viruses in winter. Two drops in 100 ml of water in the diffuser are enough to stimulate the immune system and good mood :)

The scent of frankincense is definitely calming and can really lift your spirits. It's also great for colds. Marshmallow oils are wonderful; they're fantastic to have and use for a variety of purposes. I'm really glad I learned about the many benefits of essential oils!

A very aromatic essential oil, the feeling on the skin is very pleasant when used mixed with a base oil (I currently use camellia or evening primrose, both from Alteya Organics) and I can already see a good effect even after a short use.
