- Organic cinnamon leaf essential oil Cinnamomum zeylanicum is characterized by a higher concentration of eugenol compared to cinnamon bark oil, making it suitable for purifying the air from harmful and disease-causing bacteria. It can support the immune system. It is also a great addition to homemade natural cleaners and repellents. It is extracted from the leaves of the small evergreen tree Cinnamomum zeylanicum by steam distillation. The aroma is softer and more delicate than that of cinnamon bark oil, but carries the familiar spicy-sweet scent of cinnamon. In aromatherapy, it creates a positive atmosphere and helps with relaxation; it is also believed to stimulate mental processes and concentration. It is often included in perfumes with a warm nuance to floral bouquets.
Benefits of Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil

- Widely used in hair and skin care for its purifying and stimulating properties.
- The warm aroma stimulates concentration as well as libido.
- Blends well with: chamomile, clove, frankincense, ginger, lavender, tangerine, orange, patchouli, pine, rose, rosemary, sandalwood, ylang-ylang.

- For massage, dilute in vegetable oil and apply to areas of tension – always highly diluted.
- To a pack of face cream/lotion: maximum 1 drop and only if well tolerated; for the face, work with an even lower concentration than the body limit.
- To shampoo: 1–2 drops to refresh the scalp.
Dilution and safety: For external use only. Never apply undiluted to the skin. For the body, aim for a maximum of about 0,6% (approximately 1–2 drops per 10 ml of vegetable oil) - stricter for sensitive skin.
