- Organic eucalyptus essential oil is extracted from the branches and leaves of the tree Eucalyptus globulus by steam distillation. Eucalyptus essential oil is effective in preventing colds and coughs, other respiratory ailments. When inhaling the fresh, camphor aroma with a lemon note, breathing is relieved in case of a runny nose and sinusitis. A solution in sea salt and water can be used to gargle the throat for angina - it removes pain and inflammation. Eucalyptus oil effectively anesthetizes and disinfects, helps with rapid skin regeneration. One of the most popular components of expectorant antiseptic preparations and breath fresheners (candy, toothpastes, syrups). In cosmetic products, it cleanses the skin, enhances the regeneration of skin tissues. Eucalyptus oil repels insects and softens the effect of their bites. Most air fresheners and insecticides contain eucalyptus oil.
