- Thyme essential oil (thymus zygis) Tisserand has a herbal, grassy, sweet aroma with a slight medicinal undertone and is used as a middle note in perfumery. It is extracted by steam distillation of the herb. It is suitable for oily skin and scalp care; energizes, motivates and revives the mind.

Dosage according to label. Thyme is a strong essential oil – dilute carefully and do not exceed the recommended drops.
- Diffuser / aroma lamp: Add 3–6 drops to water. Diffuse in short intervals with good ventilation.
- Massage: up to 2–3 drops in 10 ml of base oil (lower dose due to the strength of the oil). For sensitive skin or children 5–12 years old – up to 2 drops in 10 ml. Not recommended for face.
- Bathtub: Dissolve 4–6 drops in 1 tablespoon of sea salt, honey, milk/cream or carrier oil, then add to warm water and mix well.
- Homemade cosmetics: a few drops in a package of skin care cream or lotion.
Safety: For external use only. Never apply undiluted to the skin. Before use, perform a sensitivity test in the crook of the elbow. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on children under 5 years of age. Consult a specialist if pregnant, breastfeeding, ill or taking medication. Do not use for inhalation in asthma, as well as in children under 10 years of age. Keep away from painted surfaces, plastic and open flames. Store in a dry and cool place.
