- Primavera Organic Unrefined Shea Butter provides intense hydration and protection. It is ideal for very dry and chapped areas such as elbows, knees and lips. It comes from a women's cooperative in Ghana - by purchasing it, you support sustainable development and the living conditions of the women in production. The unrefined butter has a natural aroma, slightly reminiscent of vanilla cocoa butter, and a creamy to slightly yellowish color. It is not deodorized and is not processed with hot steam.

Warm a small amount between your palms to soften, and massage into damp skin.
Dry and cracked areas: apply to elbows, knees and lips and massage until absorbed. Repeat as needed.
Face care: apply a small amount to clean skin, moisturized with toner or hydrolate. Absorbs and does not leave a greasy film - suitable under makeup.
Body care: after bathing or showering, apply to damp skin.
Soothing calendula cream for mother and child: in a water bath, slowly heat (without overheating) 20 g of shea butter until melted. Add 10 g of organic calendula oil and mix. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to set. After cooling, the cream is soft - suitable for caring for the baby's bottom, the mother's nipples and sore skin. Store in a cool, dark place for about 8 months.
For mixing with essential oils: for face about 0,5%; for body about 1% (for example 10 drops per 45 ml).
For external use only. Shea butter is derived from the nuts of the shea tree – do not use if you are allergic to nuts or any of the ingredients. Do a sensitivity test before use. Store in a cool, dry, dark place, out of reach of children.

Great for making your own creams.
I have bought Primavera shea butter several times to make my own creams. It is of excellent quality and easy to work with. One of my favorite Primavera products :-)

I have tried many shea butters, but I still find this to be the best. The consistency is thicker, but that means it is not as greasy as the others. I use it often on my elbows, legs, as well as my face and décolleté, with or without another oil. The smell is absolutely lovely. That is exactly what pure, natural shea butter smells like; they always have a distinctive scent.
