- Alteya Organics Carrot Seed Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation of the seeds from the plant. Daucus carota (family Apiaceae). It has a slightly sweet, dry and earthy aroma and is one of the most underrated oils in aromatherapy. Its light aroma helps relieve stress and exhaustion, and when applied topically it is associated with skin care - better elasticity, radiance and a feeling of regeneration. Carrot seed essential oil promotes a clearer and more even skin tone and better hydration. Its regular use when applied topically can contribute to more softness, faster healing of scars, soothing irritations and fading of redness and spots. Used in hair care, the oil soothes the scalp from irritation and dryness and contributes to healthier and shinier hair. Dosage according to the label
Maximum 3 drops в 30 ml organic carrier oil (about 0,5%). Always dilute before applying to skin.- Face/Skin Care: 1–2 drops in a container of cream, lotion or in a carrier oil; mix well.
- Body / massage: up to 3 drops per 30 ml of base oil.
- Diffuser: 3–4 drops or according to the device's instructions – for a more relaxed atmosphere and fatigue relief.
- Bathtub: up to 3–4 drops, pre-dissolved in sea salt, honey, milk/cream or a little carrier oil, then add to the water.
- In home cosmetics: a few drops in a cream or serum for extra care and radiance.
