- Immortelle essential oil (Helichrysum italicus) Primavera is one of the most prized oils in aromatherapy – with a herbal, sweet scent and a strong focus on skin care. The highest quality raw materials are grown in the Mediterranean region; the herb reaches up to 60 cm and grows on the dry, stony soils of the garrigue.

Always dilute before applying to skin.
- Dilution (Primavera label): maximum 2 drops essential oil in 50 ml organic base oil (e.g. almond). This is stricter than the general dilution table – follow the label.
- Face/body care: add the drops to a base oil or cream packaging / lotion and mix well. Start with a lower dose; test on a small area of skin.
- Massage: only in a diluted mixture; rub lightly on feet, wrists or neck when in need of relaxation.
- Diffuser / aroma lamp: a few drops for stress and tension (ventilate the room).
- Bathtub: Mix the drops in advance with an emulsifier (sea salt, honey or cream), then add to the water – do not pour undiluted oil directly into the bath.
- Perfume / fixative: in ready-made aromatic blends as a middle-base note.
Safety: For external use only. Immortelle essential oil contains ketones that can be neurotoxic and abortifacient - follow the manufacturer's dosages. Do not apply essential oils undiluted to the skin. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use by pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 3 years of age, asthmatics and epileptics without prior consultation with a doctor. The oil has a lovely oriental spice aroma with a light honey base note. I use this lovely essential oil in my diffuser during meditation exercises and yoga. Since it is a pure essential oil, I can inhale it deeply and feel good.

I used the oil as a scar oil in a mixture after a major surgery. The scar healed very well. Even older scars can be reduced with the oil.
