- Aroma lamp/aroma diffuser: 7–8 drops per 15–20 sq. m. area, recommended for viral and flu infections for disinfection and air purification, soothes inflammation of the respiratory tract, coughs and asthma, as a tonic.
- Aroma bath: for energy and tone – 6–10 drops dissolved in 1 tablespoon of honey, milk, sea salt, water temperature 28–35°C, stay 10 minutes. Use for arthritis, gout, edema, to stimulate peripheral circulation, to tone up at the beginning of the day and for fatigue to restore strength and invigorate.
- Inhalations: direct inhalation from the vial or 1–2 drops placed on a handkerchief.
- Massage/self massage: 4 drops per 10 ml of base oil.
- Compresses: 4–6 drops per 200 ml of hot water.
- Sauna: 10 drops in 500 ml of water.
- Indoor vaporization: 80–100 drops in a mixture of 100 ml of water and 20 ml of alcohol.
Contraindications: The use of Scots pine essential oil is not recommended for people with epilepsy, hypertensive patients, pregnant women, children under 6 years of age; for nursing mothers - use is not recommended 2 hours before breastfeeding!
Caution: Before use, perform a sensitivity test in the crook of the elbow. For external use only. Do not use undiluted essential oils on the skin. Avoid contact with sensitive areas such as the eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use essential oils on children under 5 years of age. Consult a doctor for use during pregnancy, illness or medication. Do not use for inhalation if you suffer from asthma, or for children under 10 years of age. The number of drops indicates the maximum number of drops in combination with essential oils. If you have sensitive skin or for children 5–12 years of age, use 2 drops in 10 ml of carrier oil for massage. Keep away from painted surfaces, plastic and open flames. Store in a cool, dry place.
